South Hillsboro Focus Area Plan

The TV Highway Corridor Plan (TVCP) is nearly complete thanks to great input and participation from the community.  Outcomes from the TVCP and other specific recommendations are now being used to develop a Focus Area Plan specific to the South Hillsboro community.  The South Hillsboro Focus Area Plan will identify transportation improvements and solutions to meet the needs for this growing area.

About the South Hillsboro Focus Area Plan

The South Hillsboro Focus Area Plan will build off the work done for the TVCP, which identifies improvements for a safer, more-complete and better-connected network of streets, including pedestrian and bicycle facilities.  The Focus Area Plan also seeks to help advance toward implementation of the goals and objectives of the South Hillsboro Community Plan.

The Focus Area Plan incorporates TVCP recommended actions but includes further guidance on the timing and implementation.  The Plan focuses on transportation improvements necessary to maintain mobility standards.  The Plan will consider the timing of improvements, as well as ways to leverage funding.

Project Advisory Committee (PAC)

The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) will review and provide input on the South Hillsboro Focus Area Plan, for consideration by the City of Hillsboro.
